Such a quaint hideaway a fellow artist and I discovered at the Lake Lowell DFNR. As I worked to capture my impression of the scene with the deliberate marks of my palette knife on a 12x16 linen panel in acrylic, it made me grateful for the day's slower drying time. A fond memory of an afternoon spent with a dear friend.
